Spare Key Seeks Nominations for the 2014 Derian Keech Parade of Kindness Award

Spare Key, a Minnesota-based non-profit that provides housing grant payments to families is seeking nominations for the 2014 Derian Keech Parade of Kindness Award. The award, named after the son of Robb and Patsy Keech, founders of Spare Key, honors the life of Derian Keech who earned his “Angel Wings” when he was just 2 ½ years old. The award recognizes individuals and organizations that have been “Super Star” supporters of Spare Key.

Spare Key was thrilled to award the first Derian Keech Parade of Kindness Award to Bell Mortgage in 2013 for their amazing financial, employee and organizational support of the organization for many years. Now, in preparation of the 2014 Groove Gala to be held on Saturday, March 1st at Aria in Minneapolis, Spare Key is actively seeking nominations for the 2014 Derian Keech Parade of Kindness Award.

Those who have earned the Derian Keech Parade of Kindness Award will have done so by mirroring the life and spirit of Derian in five key ways:

• Sharing the joy of Spare Key with others
• Reaching out to others and giving generously of their time and
talent to increase another’s joy
• Leading a parade of kindness
• Accepting challenges
• Being fearless
