(Saint Paul, MN) PedalPub –Twin Cities, LLC and K-TWIN 96.3 FM radio announced today an effort to create the first ever world record for a non-stop PedalPub ride.

Spare Key, www.sparekey.org, a Minnesota non-profit that provides mortgage payments to Minnesota families with seriously ill or critically injured children, is the beneficiary of the effort to set the bar for the first official world record non-stop Pedal Pub ride.
Donations made during the “Pedal to the Max” ride will be doubled as a result of a matching grant gift from the Otto Bremer Foundation.
PedalPub – Twin Cities, LLC which is donating the PedalPub for the record setting effort, the effort will involve a constant cycle of 10 riders moving the PedalPub around a route near the Mississippi River next to Harriet Island for 24 straight hours.
“To set the record, we need a bunch of committed riders who will keep the PedalPub moving constantly. Obviously, there will be some breaks for individual riders for personal needs,” said Lisa Staplin, Manager of PedalPub – Twin Cities, LLC. “There will be no alcohol allowed on this ride, but riders will have a great time riding for a great cause in Minnesota by supporting Spare Key.”
CrossFit Saint Paul, CrossFit St. Louis Park and CrossFit Minneapolis (www.crossfitstpaul.com) have committed to providing a significant number of riders for the record setting event, and riders will be powered by Curt’s Salsa (www.curtssalsa.com).
