SPARE KEY EFFORT TO RAISE $100,000 IN 100 DAYS BOOSTED BY ROSENAU LEGACY OF ANGELS ENDOWMENT GIFT

$20,000 gift allows Spare Key to offer donors a limited time opportunity to triple their dollar donation to organization

(Minneapolis, MN) Spare Key, a Minnesota based non-profit that provides mortgage grant payments to families whose children are hospitalized as a result of a serious illness or critical injury, announced today that a donor has provided the organization a major gift.

The Rosenau Legacy of Angels Endowment, led by Sue and Paul Rosenau, awarded Spare Key $20,000 as a way to help encourage a higher degree of giving during Spare Key’s current drive to raise $100,000 in 100 days.

“Thanks to a matching grant gift of $175,000 by the Otto Bremer Foundation, Spare Key has an historic opportunity to help hundreds more Minnesota families during their child’s medical crisis,” said Erich Mische, Spare Key Executive Director. “The Rosenau’s generosity not only helps us match a portion of the Bremer Foundation gift, but it also offers us a chance during a limited time to have donors triple their dollar donation to Spare Key.”

Spare Key, www.sparekey.org, celebrated its 15th Anniversary this September 15th by kicking off a campaign to raise $100K in 100 Days” by leveraging its Otto Bremer Foundation matching grant gift. In letters being mailed this week to prospective donors, the organization is letting donors know that for a limited time their donation can be tripled up to $20,000 that has been donated by the Rosenau Legacy of Angels Endowment Fund.
