On September 15th, 1997 Spare Key was officially incorporated in Minnesota. Since that time more than 2,300 families in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin with critically ill or seriously injured children in the hospital have benefitted from almos $2.4 million in mortgage or rental grants.
Spare Key was created by Robb and Patsy Keech as a living legacy to their son, Derian. Now, almost 17 years later, Spare Key has served families in more than 500 cities across the Midwest and continues to grow its capacity to help families “Bounce and not Break”.
