Overview of Guidelines
It is recognized that you have an overabundant amount of stressors taking place in your life and seeking help shouldn’t be one of them. This is why Spare Key designed the mortgage grant program to be simple yet effective.
Spare Key requires that the applicant has a dependent child who has been hospitalized for 21 or more days in the past 90 days, and that they are a Minnesota homeowner who is current on their mortgage payments.
If your application is approved the payment is made directly to the mortgage lender after all paid leave has been exhausted or when the child’s medical care has resulted in a demonstrated significant reduction of income or increase in expenses.
To find out if Spare Key could help your family or somebody you know, review the Program Guidelines or call 952-406-8872.
Beyond our organization’s Program Guidelines, in all our programs and activities, Spare Key prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, disability, sex, marital status, familial status, parental status, religion or sexual orientation. Inquiries regarding the nondiscrimination policies may be directed to the Executive Director at erich@sparekey.org.
